IT was part of a well-known chain that opened up in Southampton only to vanish like many others from around that time, including Walkabouts and Brannigans.
Chicago Rock Café opened in August 1998 with a VIP event.
The bar was renowned for its £12-all-you-can-drink deal but made sure you spent most of the night trying to get the attention of the bar staff.
Chicago Rock closed to become Ocean & Collins but went on to be Bliss, The OC and Voodoo Lounge. The building is now student accommodation.
