TO celebrate the fact that attractions have been opening their turnstiles once again, the Daily Echo looks back at pictures of Paultons Park from 2001.
Youngsters have been enjoying the thrill of riding roller coasters, the calming impact of log flumes and numerous live shows at the Ower based theme park for decades.
Initially named Paulton’s Park and Bird Gardens, entrances were first opened May 17, 1983.
However, things looked very different in those primary stages of life when the park had just an adventure playground, a museum, birds and animals - but no rides!
Now the park packs more than 70 rides and attractions.
