SACKS full of cheap balls, cones for goalposts and the ever looming threat of having to play in your underpants should you ever forget your kit - we’ve all played football at school.
Some in 1993 didn’t just play the beautiful games for their school, but made the headlines too.
Several Romsey School pupils put themselves on the spot for charity by participating in a penalty kick competition which raised over £100 for Gambia Appeal.
A jubilant Abbotswood School team lifted the Southampton School Under-11 six-a-side trophy at Test Park, Redbridge after beating Sinclair School 3-0 in the final.
Millbrook School sampled the sweet taste of success when they won the Southampton Schools FA Bass Charrington Under-15 Cup with a 3-1 victory over Priestlands in Studland Road.
