Carnivals and shows were clearly in favour among weekend revellers and included St Denys, Netley North Baddesley and Bishop's Waltham.
Legends of1980s TV Paul Daniels and Noel Edmonds were pictured in Southampton – Paul showing off a magic trick and Noel arriving at the heliport on West Quay Road.
