WHEN Kings School, Fair Oak, began in September 1982 it had just 35 pupils - but when these pictures were taken, it had 166.
Daily Echo photographer Stuart Martin went back to school on February 24, 1999, to capture these snaps of students enjoying their day.
Headteacher Stephen Williams led a team of 13 staff at the time and the class sizes were kept to a minimum of 25.
Friday morning assemblies were open to parents and visitors and were described as being “lively and joyful.”
