STAPLES Barrie (Former Scout Leader) Passed away on 14th November 2020 after an unexpected and short illness Age 66 years Husband to Chris, Father of Carly and Ben, Father in-law to Trina, Grandad to Riley and Scarlett You have had an awful year and you didn't deserve any of it! you were so brave and we will miss you dreadfully as will Rex & Lexi x x x x Funeral Service to take place on Friday 11th December Wessex Vale Crematorium 12.15pm No flowers But donations if desired made payable to League against cruel sports may be sent c/o R C Payne & Son 485 Bitterne Road East,Southampton SO18 5EQ Tel - 02380 449111

When Barrie became a Scout Leader he had a positive attitude and worked very hard to uphold the tradition and success of the 3rd. He supported and encouraged the personal development of the Scouts and provided many interesting experiences for them during his (much too short) time with the Group.
So sad to read of your loss. Thinking of you all.

I have fond memories of my time with Barrie at the 3rd & 10th scout groups.
