Chandlers Ford racked-up a second successive 5-1 away win, seeing off previously unbeaten Hamble.

The victory moved them top of the Southampton Billiards League table, writes Andy Carter.

Only Nick Wood (55 & 35) stood between Chandlers Ford and the whitewash with Dave White, Trevor Thorn (48, 36, 34 & 32), Danny Zagarola (63, 53, 39 & 36) and Terry Azor (81, 53, 49 & 37) all winning as their breaks piled up.

At the other end, Sarisbury were beaten 4-2 at Totton, where Lee Fitzpatrick registered a win on his return to action.

Mick Kunzi overcame John Oldfield, thanks in no small part to a 55 break. Despite resistance from Kas Remzi and Geoff Knapp, Tony Aldridge clocked up yet another win to see the hosts home.

Curdrige sit bottom and were well beaten at St Denys, going down 5-1, Trevor Harris just preventing a clean sweep.

Derek King, Mark Emm and Chris Bishop added to the point notched by Malc Willis.

Park Gate lost out 4-2 to Churchills. Paul Lawrence (45) and Steve Scott (42) kicked things off in style.

Mark McLean and Mike Henstredge then added to those wins, before Chris Christodoulou and Paul Tavender made things respectable for the home team.
