Six people have been arrested after a drug warrant at Southampton commercial building.

Officers carried out the drug bust at around 2pm on Friday and found a “significant” amount of suspected class A drugs.

Following this, the police have arrested six people on suspicion of being concerned about the supply of class A drugs – a 29-year-old woman and five men aged 18, 22, 32, and 44.

They currently remain in police custody and officers continue to carry out enquiries at the scene.

Yesterday’s warrant is part of the ongoing efforts by the police to target and disrupt the supply of drugs in Southampton, the force has added.

A spokesperson said: “Drug supply exploits the most vulnerable members of our society and causes harm, violence and misery which is why we will continue to relentlessly pursue those involved.
