Labl.it, a Southampton-based startup, has taken top honours at the Southampton Startup Roadshow 2024.

The smart labelling firm impressed at the event held at Southampton Science Park in April 2024. Part of a series organised by South East Angels, the roadshow celebrates local startups and the entrepreneurial ecosystem across the South East.

The competition, featuring early-stage businesses from various sectors, provides a platform for entrepreneurs to attract investors and acquire valuable feedback.

Labl.it, founded in 2024 and now implemented in over a thousand UK commercial kitchens, simplifies the laborious task of handwritten expiry labels, proving a big hit.

Their victorious pitch at the roadshow cements their position at the forefront of Hampshire's flourishing startup scene, with bright promises for the future.

Kristina Pereckaite (South East Angels) said: "The quality of the pitching startups was really high and the judges had a tough job picking a winner. Labl.it was chosen because Sean (Co-founder) delivered a pitch that communicated the market opportunity clearly, and displayed the impressive traction they have had getting Labl.It into kitchens around the UK."
