A man has walked free from court after stealing fragrances from Next in Hedge End.
Craig Samuel Griffiths, 34, pleaded guilty to theft from a shop after an incident on December 4 last year.
The incident, which took place at around 5pm, saw a number of fragrance items stolen from Next in Charles Watts Way.
He was given a 12-month conditional discharge at Southampton Magistrates' Court on March 4.
Griffiths, of Millbrook Road West, Southampton was also ordered to pay £144 compensation.
