A woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault and shoplifting after a string of incidents at stores in Hedge End.
The 24-year-old woman from Southampton was detained this morning (Thursday, April 18) following four incidents at stores in Hedge End.
The incidents took place in February.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of assault by beating and shoplifting.

She remains in police custody at this time.
The arrest was made by officers from the Hedge End Neighbourhood Policing Team.
