A 19-year-old Southampton man has pleaded guilty to car theft after stealing a car from a home in Rattigan Gardens.
Police said that a car was taken in Rattigan Gardens, Whiteley, at around 5.30am on Sunday, March 24.
The vehicle was later found abandoned at Windhover Roundabout near Bursledon, and officers made an arrest nearby.

Shortly after the car was discovered, officers arrested Joris Augustaitis, 19, of no fixed address, and charged him with vehicle theft.
On Monday, March 25, Augustaitis appeared before Magistrates, where he pleaded guilty to theft of a motor vehicle.
He was remanded in custody until April 15, where he will be sentenced for this offence at Southampton Crown Court.
