More than £700 of clothing was stolen from a shop in Hedge End, police have said.

Hampshire Police has released CCTV images of two men they are hunting for after £768 worth of clothing was stolen from Next in Charles Watts Way.

Officers said the stolen goods included jumpers, jackets, and shirts, and they are now appealing the public for more information.

They have released CCTV images of two suspects.

The first man is described as white, approximately 37-year-of-age, and around 6ft tall.

He was seen wearing a long-sleeved top and grey jeans.

The second man is described as white, approximately 46-years-old, and around 5ft 5ins tall.

He has brown hair and was seen wearing a black jumper and blue jeans.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We believe the men in these images can help us with our investigation and would urge them, or anyone who knows their identity, to get in touch with us.

“Also, if you have information about this incident, saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, or have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash cam or doorbell camera footage which could aid our investigation, please contact us.”

They added: “You can do this by calling 101, or by reporting online via the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary website, quoting incident number 44240069881.”
