THE Romsey Show once again welcomed crowds of people, with an action-packed lineup of displays and activities for all ages.

The popular event on Saturday, September 9, welcomed new attractions to the Main Ring including The Tigers Motorcycle Display Team where visitors could watch some of the youngest and most daring riders in the country perform a thrilling show.

The Osborne Refrigerators Horse Scurry Championships also took centre stage, with teams of two ponies harnessed to a lightweight carriage competing in a fast-paced slalom race.

For guests who love the old-time favourites, the Main Ring hosted a display of vintage and classic vehicles as well as the heavy horse parade.

Other areas within the marquees included the Women’s Institute, honey, floral art and horticultural displays. Elsewhere there were craft activities and the Food Zone featuring local produce, drinks and music.

New this year was an additional area with attractions such as action stunt team Extreme Bike Battle. The team fuses multiple disciplines together for an adrenaline-fuelled show, performing huge backflips in the air as the riders hope to create an unforgettable spectacle.
