JUST seven areas of Southampton are reporting more than three Covid cases, Public Health England data confirms.

The Government's interactive map shows that 24 city districts have recorded fewer than three coronavirus cases in the seven day to May 19 - the latest data.

This places it in the lowest rate category of 'Suppressed', and shown as white on the map.

Of the other seven areas, which are almost all in the city centre, one has seen more than five cases, with three also seeing a reduction in cases.
