THERE is a lot to celebrate at Forest Oaks Residential and Nursing Home in Brockenhurst.
The home, situated in The Rise, has just been awarded a ‘Good’ rating in all areas by the Care Quality Commission.
The last two commission inspections at Forest Oaks resulted in ‘requires improvement’ ratings, and an interim chief executive was brought in by trustees of the charity to turn the home around.
Thelma Turner, interim chief executive said: “I have worked with the Wilverley Association team since June, and this is one of the best demonstrations of positive team working I have seen in over 50 years in the industry. ”
The Wilverley Association is a charity providing elder care in the community and offers both Nursing and Residential care in Forest Oaks, Brockenhurst and Little Haven, Dibden Purlieu.
