DRIVERS face traffic chaos again tonight - with delays of an hour on a major route into Southampton.
Traffic bosses are warning of an hour long delay on the M271 this evening.
It comes as emergency road works continue on the A35.
Southern Gas Network (SGN) were repairing a gas leak under the westbound carriageway near to Rushington Roundabout.

The company say work is now complete, but work is set to continue tonight to restore the road surface.
A lane will remain closed until 5am tomorrow morning.
A spokesperson for SGN said: "We're continuing our emergency repair work on the Totton Bypass between Bartram Road and the Rushington roundabout.
"To ensure everyone's safety around our work area, the inside lane of the westbound carriageway remains closed between these junctions.
"Repairs to our gas main were completed on Tuesday 16 October and we're currently working to restore the road surface.
"Watch this video which explains how we use different layers of material to restore the road surface to its original condition.
"Our engineers have made good progress and, all being well, we expect our resurfacing work to be completed and the lane to be reopened by 5am tomorrow morning (Thursday 18 October)."
