A HAMPSHIRE road was closed this evening after a crash involving a car and a cyclist.
Fawley Road in Hythe was shut in both directions following the accident, which occurred outside Seadown Veterinary Hospital.
Social media users said the cyclist was a 17-year-old boy who was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
A police spokesman said officers were in the process of re-opening the road but refused to release any further details.
