A SECOND man has been charged after a 26-year-old male was murdered in Totton.
Sydney Andrew Cooper, 26, of no fixed abode, will face murder allegations and has been remanded in custody to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday 3 September.
The charges come after police received reports of a serious assault at an address on Salisbury Road at around 7.45pm on Saturday 25 August.
The victim was transported to hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
On Friday, Charlie Cooper, 19, of Ashby Road, appeared at Winchester Crown Court charged with the murder of Courtney Jones.
A previous hearing heard prosecutors allege that there was an attack on Mr Jones, who suffered fatal injuries.
