A WOMAN attempted to use a forged prescription in a bid to get medication from a New Forest pharmacist, police have said.

Officers are probing an allegation that a member of the public used a forged prescription in an attempt to receive medication from a pharmacy on Southampton Road, Bartley.

The alleged incident took place on May 17 this year.

Yesterday, police released CCTV of a woman who they want to speak to as part of their investigation.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said the force had identified a person in relation to the investigation.

However, police say no arrests have been made at this time and enquiries are ongoing.
