AROUND 800 properties were left without electricity due to a power cut in Ringwood.
The power went off at around 8.20am at homes and businesses in the BH24 area.
The power was restored this morning, said a spokesperson for SSE.
They said engineers were re-routing power supplies to try and establish which cables were affected.
It is not yet known what the cause of the power cut was but SSE were investigating.
He added: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we would like to reassure our customers that we are working to restore supplies as quickly and safely as possible.”
