Today the Echo remembers Leisure World through pictures.
It was originally billed as the biggest pleasure complex of its kind in western Europe.
Leisure World opened to much celebration in 1997 and boasted a Jumpin Jaks live music bar, a bowling alley, two nightclubs and more
