GET OUT and about in Southampton this weekend and join the rhino charge.

Rhino-fever has well and truly swept across Hampshire as Marwell’s Go! Rhinos stampede enters its second week tomorrow.

Nearly 100 rhinos have charged on the city providing a unique day out for families while bringing a boost to the local economy.

The magnificent mammals have been sponsored by businesses and schools and dotted along the trail in city streets and parks for all to admire.

But to make sure you don’t get lost, don’t forget to pick up a copy of the Go! Rhino’s official souvenir guide, which comes complete with the trail map and information on all the sculptures to look out for.

The guides cost £3 and are available from a number of places including WestQuay Information Desk, the Market Gallery in the Marlands and Sea City Museum.

And don’t forget to send your pictures with the rhinos to picdesk@dailyecho.co.uk for a chance to win the chance for a child aged between 8 and 15 to become a zoo keeper for the day. Include your name, contact number, address and the names of those in the photo.
