GOALS 66 AND 67: October 1, 2011 –Saints 4 Watford 0 Lambert scored twice on his 100th Saints appearance, netting another two penalty kicks. The first came midway through the opening half, after a handball, while he added another after the break having been fouled himself.
GOAL 68: October 15, 2011 – Derby 1 Saints 1 Having trailed to an early goal, Saints earned a point through Lambert’s second-half strike. A nice one-two with David Connolly set him free, and he duly finished low into the far corner.
GOALS 69 AND 70: November 19, 2011 –Saints 3 Brighton 0 The first two goals of Lambert’s hat-trick of Saints hat-tricks. His first was a header and the second a penalty.
