THE Ageas Bowl will host an "unmissable" evening of live blues music on Saturday as the first ‘Blues at the Bowl’ event arrives at the home of Hampshire Cricket.

The venue’s Rod Bransgrove Pavilion will play host to three fantastic up-and-coming blues acts as part of an all-encompassing blues experience.

2017 European Blues Award Nominee, Elles Bailey, known for her 'smoky vocal' and music which seamlessly weaves rootsy blues, country and soulful rock with a contemporary edge, headlines the night’s entertainment.

The Dan Sowerby Band and Crossfire featuring Marcus Praestgaard-Stevens will also feature on the Ageas Bowl stage, playing original songs as well as classic blues covers.

A wide range of blues-themed food and drink specials will be exclusively available to enjoy throughout the evening, with specially selected ‘Blues at the Bowl’ ale on tap for one night only.

Standard tickets for Blues at the Bowl are available at £15 per person and permit access to unreserved seating and standing areas. VIP tickets have sold out already.
