WINCHESTER Science Centre has a full program of activities coming up throughout August.
Treat the children to a night out this summer with the Kids’ Space Disco, which takes place on Thursday August 2 and 9 between 5 and 6.30pm, inside the centre’s new interactive space zone, Explorer:Space.
The super space setting, disco lights, neon face-paints and live DJ promises an out-of-this-world disco experience and the perfect summer party.
Chill out in front of your favourite family film in the exciting setting of Winchester Science Centre’s planetarium on Thursdays between 5 and 7pm.
The combination of luxury reclined seating, cool air and unique location make this a cinema experience to remember, films include The Greatest Showman Sing-a-long, Grease Sing-a-long, Beauty and the Beast (2017) Sing-a-long, Sing and LEGO Batman.
The Dark Side of the Moon planetarium experience, on Thursdays August 2, 16 and 30 from 8-9pm, follows six sell-out performances earlier this year.
Take a flight through time and space with Pink Floyd’s seminal 1973 album, one of the world’s favourites, in this extraordinary audio-visual experience.
Be immersed in a retro, psychedelic, fulldome visualisation created by Starlight Productions (2001) to accompany this iconic album.
