DIE Hard at Southampton Airport, a Michael Caine classic at Bursledon Windmill and Rocky at a gym.

Eastleigh Film Festival 2017 will bring 11 unique screenings to venues to match around the town this autumn.

The festival’s Out in the Town programme has become a popular strand with a variety of new and exciting locations chosen to screen hand-picked cult films throughout the six-day event.

The headlining Die Hard trilogy, of which the second film features a terrorist incident at an airport, will be shown at Wessex House, Southampton Airport and a secret location, The Black Windmill is set for a screening at the beautiful outdoor location of Bursledon Windmill and enjoy Mallrats at the Swan Shopping Centre.

Rocky fans can enjoy the exploits of Rocky Balboa ringside at Lakeside Weightlifting and iconic horror Carrie will be screened at Crestwood College, bringing to life the terror of the movie’s high-school setting.

Audiences can expect unique, pre-screening fun at all of the events as they pull up a chair in an environment to match the film.

The festival will also present a dining experience with acclaimed Bollywood drama Monsoon Wedding being screened at Infusions Spice & Grill, bringing foodies a bespoke evening of film and food.

The programme also includes Bend It Like Beckham at Trojans Squash Club and Toy Story at The Entertainer.

The Point will host the opening night gala, followed by La La Land, The Mummy, Gone With The Wind, Dirty Dancing and The Jungle Book.

Eastleigh Film Festival, which runs from September 25 to 30, is now in its fourth year.
