THE Lounge Kittens are to give an exclusive live performance at hmv Southampton, followed by an album signing session of their brand new album Sequins & C-Bombs later today.

The band will be bringing their own brand of comedic lounge music to hmv Southampton in an intimate show at 5.30pm.

The Southampton trio will then be meeting fans and signing copies of their hotly anticipated third studio album Sequins & C-Bombs.

The unconventional, sensational trio, The Lounge Kittens aren’t your typical cover band. Formed in just 2012, the ladies hit the ground running amassing a dedicated youtube following with their breakthrough cover of Limp Bizkit's 'Rollin.’ Limp Bizkit frontman, Fred Durst was so blown away by the girl’s cover he invited the three-piece to open his band's set at Sonisphere festival.

In 2014, the Kittens made waves at both Glastonbury and Sonisphere festivals. Not ones to rest on their laurels, in 2015 they took off on a UK and European arena tour with Steel Panther and brought the noise to Download Festival, Graspop and Boardmasters before a triumphant return to Glastonbury for the second year in a row. This summer has seen them take IOW’s Big Top stage in their stride and a debut performance at Edinburgh Fringe with their cabaret show Everybody Hates The Lounge Kittens.

The Kitten’s meteoric rise from YouTube videos to the stage at Wembley is testament to their razor sharp wit, sartorial covers, and their ability so surprise and enthrall any audience. Even the heaviest of metal fans can be disarmed by just a keyboard and three voices swearing in prefect harmony.

Their debut album Sequins & C-Bombs is due out this month and is accompanied by a full UK tour in October. You can also see the kittens opening for Status Quo on their Last Night of the Electrics Tour later this year.
